iSkysoft DVD ripper can save DVD to computer as all popular video or audio formats for Windows. The output video or audio files can be perfectly played on most portable players;

Part one: How to save DVD to computer as AVI WMV MPEG FLV MP4 MP3 files

Step 1: Download the iSkysoft DVD ripper, install it and start operation;

Click the “Add… “Button and browse your computer, find the DVD folder of the movie you want to add from your hard disc or DVD-ROM, open your DVD folder, select the VIDEO_TS folder and click OK.

Click the drop-down menu of ” Add…” button, you will see some choices, such as G; \, /Load DVD Folder/Load ISO File/Load IFO files…browse your computer, and add the files you want;

Step2: Output Settings

Click “Format” drop-down button to choose the output format you want to convert;
Click “output” and find the destination folder for saving output file;

Then finish all the settings including selecting an output format, finding the destination folder for saving output file, or choose if you want to merge the selected titles or chapters into one file or not. If you want to complete the conversion by default settings, that’s enough, you just click the “Convert” button. It is the easily and common way to carry out the conversion.

Step 3: You can select the settings’ parameters as you want

Click the “settings” button to open the settings’ window and set output files such as output format and set the video parameters (such as resolution, frame bite, encoder, and bit rate) or audio parameters (such as sample rate, channel, encoder and bit rate, etc.

Part Two: How to improve the output files’ quality by cropping/trimming/setting effects Click “Edit” button, you will do all editing process including crop, effect, trim, watermark, in a new interface and you can preview all changes clearly.

Step 1: Crop - Click the “Crop” button to cut off the black edges, in this way you can enjoy your videos in a full screen;

Details: If you want to remove the black edges or just convert an area from your movie video, you can click the Crop button to crop the video of the current title or chapter. You can specify an area either by dragging the frame around the video or setting the crop values: Top, Button, Left and Right. Above the crop pane, you can select an output aspect ratio and the available options are: Keep Original, full screen, 16:9 and 4:3. You can preview the video in the select aspect ratio on the main interface and during the conversion process.

Step 2: Trim - you can trim any segment of your videos to convert by clicking the ‘Trim’ button.

Step3: Effect-Click the “Effect” button and set the video effects as you want: brightness, contrast, saturation and adjust the volume, etc.You can also choose the effect such as Emboss, Gray,negative,old film,or just no effect, which depending on your choice.All the progress you can preview clearly.
